(NYSE: CYR) today announced that debis Systemhaus (dSH) GmbH, the information technology services division of Daimler Benz, has installed a CRAY C94 supercomputer at its Stuttgart, Germany, computing facility. The CRAY C94 system was installed in May and is an upgrade to a CRAY C92 supercomputer installed in December 1993. The CRAY C94 supercomputer will be used by Daimler Benz engineers and external customers to perform analysis of structures, acoustics, crash performance, computational fluid dynamics and metal forming in the design and manufacture of automobiles, aircraft and other products. The system will be networked to two other Cray Research supercomputers located in the company's Stuttgart and Munich facilities.
